Restoration of Messerschmitt Bf 109s at Legend Flyers in Everett, WA
This exciting project will return two original Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter aircraft to flying condition. The Messerschmitts are both F4 models - Wk. Nr. 10144 and 10256. The restorations are co-located at the Legend Flyers facilities in Everett, WA. where the Me 262 Project is taking place. The aircraft are owned by Air Assets International of Lafayette, Colorado. In a press release about the project, Gordon Page, President of Air Assets International said Air Assets is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Bob Hammer and his expert team to restore the Bf 109s. Bob and the Me 262 Project team have done a masterful job to put aviation history back in the sky by building five flying Me 262s, and we look forward to the same results on the Bf 109 restorations. displayed at the new Spirit of
